How To Participate
Discord Etiquette
You should try your best to talk to new people in the discord as often as possible. If people are in a voice channel that isn’t full, try to join it and say hi. If you only want to talk to select people, request a voice channel and one will be made where only the specified people can join. Do not be afraid to request personal channels, as one will almost always be made for you.
If you have a problem that you need help with, ask the people who you think could help. If you don’t know anyone who could help you, post a request in the help channel with the type of help you need and the description of the problem.
If you help someone, say so in the helped dicord channel and @ them with a description.
Streaming Etiquette
If you decide to stream, make sure you remember why you started and the spirit of this community. You aren’t trying to become popular, you are trying to meet new people who can become a part of your support network.
When streaming, join your own personal voice channel (request one and it will be made for you) and ask others on the server to join you so that you can talk to them. Streaming with another person is much more simple than doing so alone.
As for the people watching the stream, invite them to the discord and talk to them on stream. If there are other people watching, they will get to learn more about the new member and conversation is good “content”.
