ASVAB Practice

ASVAB Practice

I built this site for my own ASVAB prep. After three hours on it I scored 100% on the PiCAT, so I cleaned it up and put it online. It has nine subject guides, a 1,409-question practice bank, a timed PiCAT-style simulation with an AFQT estimate, and an optional AI tutor.

Everything is free except the AI Tutor. The tutor costs money because every session burns real LLM API tokens. Nothing else has a paywall. The guides, practice bank, simulation, and progress tracking all work without an account.

Study Guide

Nine subjects: Arithmetic Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, General Science, Electronics, Auto & Shop, Mechanical Comprehension, and the ASVAB Cyber Test. Each guide has inline review questions after the relevant section (475 variants across 95 concepts) and a "Why?" explanation on every answer.

Practice Questions

934 questions across four sets and nine subjects. Filter by subject, by set, and by difficulty (easy, medium, hard). Every question has a 1–3 sentence explanation in a collapsible "Why?" panel after you answer. Sign in for a free account if you want per-category progress tracking and weak-spot detection.

PiCAT Simulation

A full-length, timed run that mirrors the real PiCAT. Each section has its own time limit, the clock can't be paused, and the test auto-advances when time runs out. You get a per-section breakdown and an AFQT estimate at the end. Past attempts are saved to your account so you can track your simulation history over time.

Assembly Practice

Procedurally generated Assembling Objects questions. Two formats: shapes with labeled points that need to connect, and pieces that fit together to form a larger shape. Every question is fresh, so you can practice as long as you want. Timer is 60 seconds, matching the real pace of 16 questions in 18 minutes.

AI Tutor Premium

The tutor drills you with multiple-choice questions one concept at a time. If you miss one, it coaches you toward the right answer instead of just handing it over. When you end the session it grades your performance per concept and tells you what to focus on next. This is the only paid feature on the site, because each session uses paid LLM API tokens.
